Sooner or later all socks will disappear. This can be summarized in the syllogism
Everything will disappear.
Every thing is everything.
A sock is a thing.
Therefore:

Unlike the basic example of a syllogism involving Sokrates’ mortality, this one does require universal and existential quantifiers.
